Saints travelled to Nottingham University to play not one but two BUCS Premier fixtures due to the first match in St Andrews being called off at late notice. It was a long trip to the most southerly BUCS venue and game 1 started as a evenly contested, with neither side able to control proceedings . Saints were 2-2 at the end of the first with Katie Campbell making a string of saves. Amelia Peters scored all 3 Saints goals in the second but still there was no daylight and it was 5-5 at the half. Kate Mackie got on the score sheet as Saints to a narrow 7-6 lead into the final quarter. Saints had saved the best until last and a big rally in the final period saw Saints score six times , two more from Peters and a Double from Bekah Kaufman sealed the win for Saints 13-10.

The second match on Wednesday followed the same pattern with the teams tied at the half and again tied 4-4 going into the final period. Once more Saints came through down the stretch with a five goal final period that included a double from Kate Mackie and Bekah Kaufman and an excellent counter attack goal from Caitlin Donnelly on a full length pass from Mikaere Todd in Saints goal.

Two tough matches and the points move Saints clear in second place in the BUCS Premier League. Next up in Newcastle on 24th at Carnegie.
