Saints W2 Take Scottish 1A Title in Style
Saints womens water polo 2nd team have been crowned Scottish 1A Champions after a decisive 9-5 win over fellow title challengers University of Stirling followed up by two concluding wins over Edinburgh (17-6) and RGU (24-0). It has been an incredible season for the 2nd team as they have been competing against a league of 1st teams ( excluding Edinburgh). It has been a great opportunity for more Saints players to gain competitive experience and to push for a place in the 1st team. Congratulations to all of the 1A players who represented St Andrews so well all season, to Captain Brynn Walsh and to the Coaches Ruby Versfeld & Sarah Kreiser. Great Job everyone, lets see if we can do it all again next season.
