Saints roll past Edinburgh
Saints Womens water polo took another step towards the BUCS Premier North Title with a commanding 15-3 win road win over local rivals Edinburgh. It is only in recent times that Saints have had success away at Edinburgh but the added another victory to that list with a strong performance led by Captain Ruby Versfeld and Sarah Kreiser who top scored with five goals each. At the other end of the pool Bailey Meyer was in top form in the Saints goal tallying 10 saves and conceding just one goal in her three periods in the nets.
Saints now have a well earned week off before their final match of the semester, a home tie against Manchester Met. With just two games remaining in the regular season, Saints know that winning both will ensure they retain the Premier North Title that they won for the first time last season.
